who are you?

i'm ianni, from sao paolo, brazil

what started your journey in music?

since i was a kid, i was always fascinated by music. my thing back then was return home from school and go straight to our house computer at the time, and stay all day downloading new music from 4shared to listen on my ipod while i was at school. and then i think that one thing lead to another, so 7 years later, when i was 15, i started to get into djing, and 2 years later into making music.

whats your day to day grind outside of the studio?

taking care of myself and getting to know me better each day, going to the park with my dogs, keeping in touch with nature.

your favourite moment so far?

the first time i played at d-edge, that shit was immaculate. it was 6 am and the dance floor was packed, and it stayed full until the club closed. everyone was asking for more, that was insane, and i will never forget that day.

advice you wish you had sooner?

ignore everyone, music is about expressing yourself, not genres, not charts, not numbers, it’s about being true to yourself, just having fun in the process - trust in it.

who inspired you musically, and why?

mochakk - he’s the reason we brazilians have the belief and inspiration to chase our dreams. he opened a path that we didn’t have.
