Staying true to his London roots, Niteplan channels the sound of house and UK garage, drawing on the UK’s deep and diverse club culture. His style fuses raw, heavy house with garage-driven energy, pushing a forward-thinking sound that carries both grit and groove.
Alongside Niteplan, he is Pirate Material – his alias for his underground, multi-genre sets and productions that span jungle, 140, grime, techno and beyond. His entire body of work stretches across house and garage, jungle and ambient, with clear influences from hardcore – a deeply introspective take on UK dance music. As Pirate Material, he has played for some of the UK’s most respected underground labels, including DJ Mantra and Double O’s Rupture LDN and Loxy’s Cylon Recordings, both cornerstones of the jungle and bass movement. These experiences have been key in shaping his identity as a DJ grounded in sound system culture and raw, genre-defying energy.
As Niteplan, his journey has taken him to stages worldwide, from Space Ibiza, OFF Sonar and Eden Ibiza to Forbidden Forest, ABODE Malta, WAT Festival in Toulouse, and beyond. With an impressive catalogue that includes multiple Beatport #1s – some released through his own growing label Nitestore – his music has also found a home on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax, further cementing his presence in the global electronic scene.
